Y'all tin add Google files, YouTube videos, and other content to your site.*

Important: If a file is stored on a shared drive or has restricted sharing permissions, only people with access will exist able to come across the file. Learn how to change sharing permissions of your Google files.

Tip: This section is for new Google Sites. Get help with archetype Google Sites.

Add Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms & Charts

  1. On a computer, open a site in new Google Sites.
  2. At the right, click Insert.
  3. Select the type of file you want to add together, e.k. Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms, or Charts.
  4. Choose a fileand thenInsert.
  5. To publish your changes, at the height right, click Publish.

Add together a Google Group

  1. On a computer, open a site in the new Google Sites.
  2. Click theInsert tab.
  3. SelectEmbed.
  4. Enter the grouping URL.
  5. ClickInsert.

Add YouTube videos, calendars & maps

  1. On a computer, open a site in new Google Sites.
  2. At the correct, click Insert.
  3. Select the type of file you lot want to add, e.m. YouTube, Calendar, or Map.
  4. Cull a video, calendar, or placeand thenSelect or Insert.
  5. To publish your changes, at the top correct, click Publish.

Add a file from your computer

You can upload a .jpg, .png, or .gif image file from your computer.

Tip: To add other file types, use Google Drive.

Add together content from another website

You can add together web addresses, Google Apps Scripts, Data Studio reports, and App Maker apps.

  1. On a estimator, open a site in new Google Sites.
  2. At the right, click Insert and then Embed.
  3. Enter the URL yous want to embed.
  4. Click Insert.
  5. To publish your changes, at the top right, click Publish.

Tip: Some websites won't let you add together their content to your site. If you lot can't add content, contact the website'due south owner.

Add together HTML, CSS, or JavaScript code to your site

  1. On a calculator, open up a site in new Google Sites.
  2. At the right, click Insert and then  Embed.
  3. Click Embed code.
  4. Add your lawmaking, then click Side by side.
    1. JavaScript code must be within <script> tags.
    2. CSS code must be within <style> tags.
  5. Click Insert.
  6. To publish your changes, at the top right, click Publish.

Add Google files, tables & other content

Add calendars, maps, and Google Bulldoze files

  1. On a computer, open a site in classic Google Sites.
  2. Click the page you want to edit.
  3. At the tiptop, click Edit page Edit.
  4. Click where you lot want to insert the file.
  5. At the elevation left, click Insert and choose the type of file y'all desire to add.
  6. Choose a calendar, chart, file, map, or YouTube video and click Select or Save.

Add a Google Group

You tin can add a Google Grouping to encourage discussion on your website.

  2. Click the page you want to edit.

Reorganize, rename, or delete files

  1. On a calculator, open up a site in archetype Google Sites.
  2. At the correct, click More actions Settings.
  3. Click Manage Site.
  4. On the left, click Attachments.
  5. Click the file y'all want to edit.
  6. At the tiptop, choose an action.

Tip: You tin can only rename or replace i file at a time.

Know your storage limits

If you created your own Google Account:

  • Your site can be up to 100 MB.
  • Max attachment size: 20 MB.
